About the Artist
Ameriya – Magdalena Kowalewska
Magdalena has been drawing and painting for as long as she can remember. Professionally, she has been working for about 5 years, mainly designing patterns for fabrics.
She spends most of her day being creative, on a piece of paper or in her head. Her favourite technique is watercolour, but she also loves creative experiments and therefore tries to try many different techniques.
In her private life, she is a mother to 7-year-old Amelia, whom she has to thank for starting her own creative business. The name of her company “Ameriya” is related to Amelia’s name and Magdalena’s Japanese interests.
